How did this
The first 10 km people were passing me by. It was a stuggle. My focus was on staying focused on my own race and not try to follow the others. I ended up doing a perfect race with a consistent pace. I was not the quickest but I did it my way.
My food: Snickers bar. half after ~7km half after ~13km. It gave me energy. I felt the energy go up a bit and down a bit but it was not extreme.
Day before: I went to visit a chocolate factory with a friend Artem Manov.
I ate a lot of chocolate. Maybe that wasn't the best for consistent energy.
The last mile: I let everything go. I just let my mind free. I flew.
I clapped all the hands of my supporters (just people who were there to watch their loved ones). It felt great.
The week before: The week before I didn't eat in the morning so I was ready to carbohydrate load the day before the race which I didn't do.
But still I felt it helped me both physically and mentally.
Mental side: I felt relaxed. No pressure yet adrenaline.
