RUNNING PHILOSOPHY

I often hear people cheering other people on by saying: "hey you you're going to do this!!!" or "I think you could win" and even "I know you have what it takes to win".

While these thoughts might come from a good place they are not helpful, at least not to me on my running journey. I'm not fucking running to win!?

Why would I do that? Running is not about winning it might be about getting someplace but it for sure is not about winning. For me.

When I run there is one pointedness of the mind or in other words when I run I feel something much deeper and while I totally could run to win why would I do that if I could do it adventuring whatever comes up in the outer world or in my own world of feelings and mind-shit.

Here is one question I asked myself today when I ran almost unconsciously. If you do it don't force it. Let it rest in your head and observe your mind.

Later in that run some pain started kicking in, and so I naturally didn't have the energy anymore to think and so I just ran.

My foot hurts because of my barefoot shoes, and I'm lying in my futon about to go to sleep.

Good night
or good day and see you next time!
