Date: 25th february 2026
Half a year ago I got rejected from a girl I though was the most beautiful human being walking this planet. Funny thing: What came as a consequence was not that I lowered my expectations but that I raised them. Maybe it was a protective mechanism for my brain. It wanted to set them so high no one could ever break my heart this bad again.
However this protective mechanism is not helping me. So I'm inverting it. Here it comes:
Thou shall have the lowest possible expectations
