How does a tiny place like switzerland produce so many great people? Euler, Gauss, Einstein, Federer. I think part of the answer lies in Warren Buffett.
When I look at Warren Buffett I see a lot of the same spirit I see in swiss people.
He doesn't care. He doesn't care about a beautiful car he doesn't care about a lot of things. And he lives his life in his own way. He has no need to comply with other peoples expectations. Although he wants to be useful.
He lives life the slow way. Full of adventure but not forcing things to happen. If the people don't want him to buy their company he generally doesn't like hostile takeovers. Except for Berkshire Hathaway Inc. itself of course.
He is true to himself no matter what. That's all any of us can ever be.
