4 part mediation approach

Here is an approach I have learned in my 3 years of meditating every day to run a marathon or get some of the best grades in my first year of college even though I have never gotten good grades before in my life:

If you decide that you want to do something it can be helpful. It is not going to avoid work. It can only help you make your journey sustainable from a mental perspective.

First: Getting Comfortable

The most common failure for me when I decided I wanted to do something was going all out from the start. A lot of things in life behave like a marathon not like a sprint In meditation I learned that at the start the idea is really just to get comfortable. Doing the work but not pushing myself to the edge (unsustainable).

Second and third: Getting through it

There is no magic here. These parts are parts where one can just get through them with discipline.

Forth: Letting go

The last part is about fully letting go. Letting the mind free. Not endulging nor resisting just staying with it.
